Take Control When Managing Each Job With Works Orders

The management of the job takes place at this stage, where operations are scheduled based on the current work centre, labour and raw material availability.

The WO concentrates upon one component within the overall Sales Order, breaking down all the processes, stock items and bought in goods. Setting anticipated dates for each operation to ensure SO commitment dates can be met. The operations within the Works Order are simple to amend and sequence using the move up/down arrows on the form.
At this point, operation dates are set to integrate within the Scheduling module. Coupled with the SFDC a live record of the entire labour element is recorded on the Works Order form. The system generates a Job Card to issue instructions to the shop floor.
